And at last I see the light!

Washington weather isn't pretty. It is often rainy, cold, windy etc. Finally we get a little sun! These pictures just make me that much more excited for spring break. I looked outside a few days ago and I finally saw the sun! I grabbed my camera and my little brother and we went outside for a couple of pictures. Enjoy!

Mowgli!

So during the months of June, July, a little bit of august, and all of September  the McKenna's have had the privliage in taking Amber's (Riley's wife) Mowgli. Riley and Amber normally have Mrs. Brunner (Amber's mom) watch the dog because, they live in Georgia now, but we love him so much we get to! Here are some pictures of this little pup!

You might think this is alittle silly............

My little Nothing passed while i was on vacation:( in case your wondering who nothing is he was the best betta on the earth). I have made fish live for up to a year and then they pass because im on vaction and i can't feed it or clean the tank... not because im lazy.(because im not). Nothing died from................... dust. were having our bathroom re-done and they had to use drills and other tools which created dust in my bowl, and unforutunately that was the cause. Dust suffocates animals which made him pass:( i cried and cried because he was a good fish:) i made him a euligy which is the silly part. i made it in class and i was crying........ i had some friends read it and i could tell they thought it was alittle silly but still cute:) im going to be printing a picture of Nothing and i wil make him alittle memorial out front with some of his favorite things:) i feel lost without him:( everyday i would go and make him jump out of the bowl which was fun to do with him. anyways, here is the euligy

In loving memory of Nothing McKenna: March 14th, 2012- May 19th 2012

Nothing was so unique no name could describe him. I felt happy when i would see him being so active swimming around his tank. He loved little suprises like the Finding Nemo figurines i bought him on the disney cruise. Nothing loved a good meal. His beady small eyes followed my hands as i unscrewed the food each time he got a feeding. He ate one little pellet and he looked SO cute:) Nothing lived for three months and his death was so tragic. He was my second Betta but was my favorite because of his beautiful vibrant colors. I remeber when I was cleaning your tank and you fell in the sink! I was SO scared. I screamed and Bethany saved you:) I cried and cried when i saw you helpless body wedged between the sink. But you were saved that Earth Day :) and i was so thankful. Nothing, i pray for you now hoping to meet you in the better place someday. You were a great fish and will be missed, greatly. I love you little guy and i hope you had a wonderful life.

Happy Birthday!

On the 13th of Febuary we celebrated Elyse's 7th birthday!!!!! we went to the zoo and out to dinner here are some pictures!

Juliet (the cat)

Well its official we are keeping the cat :( Elyse is absoluetly hooked and is ALWAYS wantitng to go outside and play with it but, she is allergic really really bad and so her eyes get all red and puffed up. The cats name is Juliet thanks to Elyse and Annemarie... the cat is doing fine but i think Juliet is so scared. Today they bought her cat food, litter box, scratching post, and a bed.

 i despise cats but this picture was so cute!

Im feeling.......

ANNOYED!!!!!! because there is a cat stuck under my moms car and it keeps going MEOW MEOW MEOW like a cd stuck!!!!! its been doing that all this morning and woke me up!!! But as im writing this elyse bounded up the stairs to tell me the cats out!!!!! WOAH!  finally i heard it all day afternoon too.  but when they were trying to get it out elyse kept making coyote noises and the cat said meow only lounder!!!!! now, they are saying he is the cuitest little kitty..... i hope we don't keep him a couple of poeple in my family (including me) are allergic........

Have you ever lost a "friend" (pet)

Yesterday, I came home from ballet as usual and then I went to feed my beta Katherine (named after the girl in D.C.cupcakes:) but i went over and she was "belly up"!! I was sad all afternoon and  was crying a lot:( I know what your thinking "it's just a fish") but Katherine was magnificent and on the weekends when I fed her I would put the food and she would jump put of the tank!!! It was so fun and I will remember the times when I was cleaning the tank she would jump on to the counter (that "little" trouble maker:) Katherine lived for 268 days which in case you didn't know that's along time for fish! I still have my goldfish "mickey mouse" and I named him that from an inside joke! but my goldfish has been living since June, 13 2010 (that is incredible)! But, I will have a special place for Katherine in my heart! tell me in a comment if you have ever lost a "friend".
