Excited for Friday!

Another school week has past and it went by fast since we got Monday off for MLK holiday. Since this winter we are getting no snow here in the Pacific Northwest, my family and I are going to Winthrop! I haven't been there in awhile because i don't like to go during the summer and last time they went I had rehearsals for Winter Solstice. Its a five hour drive from my house so while writing this post I'm also downloaded books and movies (thanks to my fabulous cousin MG that got me a gift card:-)  to my kindle fire... crossing my fingers that I don't get car sick! Next week is Catholic Schools Week... more on that next week! Here are two pictures from when I went when I was in the sixth grade.... I think.

Robert was 3 and Elyse was 5

Cold. Freeze. No Snow!

As soon as it gets to be January in WA everything is all cold and it is at the perfect temperature for snow. It is completely unfair because there is SOOO much rain in WA. Then when is gets cold it hardly snows at all! I managed to have some extra time on my hands (which is rare) and i got some pictures in our backyard before it got to dark of my little sister and brother.

My favorite pic, kinda bad that it doesn't even have their face and its an object:-)

School time!

For my classes auction project this year were going to make a blog! I get the opportunity to teach them how to get started with posts, pictures and anything else they need to know! I'm really excited because i never get the chance to actually show case my blog. In addition to that, I will also be taking pictures for each student. I got to take my camera to school on Friday and got some pretty good shots considering they were taken at a school. Everyone was running, jumping, twirling, and trying to get my attention. It was so much fun and caused giggling the rest of the day!  Check out some of these from our "session".
Savannah, the natural model.

Charleston, South Carolina: Boone Hall and Plantation

Back when we were in the East Coast we did a lot of tourist things including visiting Boone Hall and Plantation! It was really cool because they filmed parts of "The Notebook" there in the lake. Also, it was cool but tragic and sad to see how the slaves lived down south! Something funny I was watching top ten wedding of 2012 and one of the weddings was here! As soon as I saw the entryway pictures im like Oh my goodness I have that picture!
